Favorite Children's Book
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by: Bill Martin, Jr.

This is my favorite children's book because it gives children a great appreciation for letters! It teaches children the letters of the alphabet in a fun manner, with rhyme and rhythm! I always read this book at the beginning of the school year and the kids always love it.

    Your quote is so true! I wish that everyone felt the same way.
    ~I also love Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! We do several activities with this book during March is Reading Month. We have a Camp Read with many literacy activities for children and parents to do together.

    I think that supporting early education is important but I wouldn't put it as the most important. I think building strong families is the most important. There are many issues breaking down the family. Systemic issues that need to be changed. That is where I would put my emphasis. When families aren't working then early education and intervention are bandaids to help aid the the greater problem.

    I love your quotes and your new set up. I thought I did a lot to mine, but I did nothing compared to you and Kristen. I guess I will have more work to do this week. I love the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom site that was a great addition to your resources. Nice job!
