Favorite Children's Book

Favorite Children's Book
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by: Bill Martin, Jr.

This is my favorite children's book because it gives children a great appreciation for letters! It teaches children the letters of the alphabet in a fun manner, with rhyme and rhythm! I always read this book at the beginning of the school year and the kids always love it.

Check out this website for activities and lesson plans for this book!

My Supports

My family is a major support in my daily life!  Their support helps me face any situation that I have had to face.  They show their support by constantly showing me how important I am in their lives.  My family is very close and we make sure that everyone keeps in touch.  I try to talk to my mother on the phone every morning.  Although, I am a very busy mother, teacher, and student, I find the time to squeeze in about 10 minutes to talk to her.  My father and I usually talk about once a week over the phone.  He usually sends me a text message or voice mail, just to let me know that he loves me and cares.  My daughters are the most important supports that I have.  Without my two daughters, I couldn’t imagine life.  They give me so much and don’t realize their impact in my life.  God is another support in my life.  Having a close relationship with him, gets me through things that I feel would be unbearable without him in my life.  God is always there to listen and he truly knows everything that is going on in my life.  He has been there when I didn’t have it in me to discuss things with my family and he was ALL I had to count on.
If I didn’t have these supports in my life, it would be very dull.  I can’t imagine what I would do if I couldn’t talk to my family or text them to let them know what is going on.  I don’t “want” to know what life would be like without them.  The thought of it, brings me to tears!
My supports provide me with advice, inspiration, motivation, strength, encouragement, appreciation and life without these things would be meaningless.
